RAN Optimization Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage the administrative and technical activities of the Radio Network Engineering team.
• Manage the optimization team to supervise preliminary radio network design.
• Manage and report on the coverage design of the network.
• Define and implement regional network optimization strategies and parameter modification standards.
• Plan / forecast activities to improve regional network coverage quality and performance for all team member.
• Budget estimation, cost control, progress and quality management for optimization and team activities;
• Launch DT&CQT test and analyze measurements result.
• Manpower resource plan and management;
• Arrange the work for all optimization team members;
• Manage the team member to collect, analyze, oversee and improve the regional network KPI
• Arrange the team member for DT&CQT test and analyze measurements result.
• Assure technical assistance for solving customer inquiries and issues
• Perform any other assignments according to superior request
• Respects all internal rules and regulations related to work, administrative tasks, reports and company internal order regulation.
• Share the experience to all team members;
• Take all kinds of technical trainings and improve the skills in regards with RF Optimization;
• Responsible for all network optimization team with good communication and relationship with Customer.

Qualification & Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or higher education in Telecommunications /Electronics Engineering / IT / BA or equivalent
• 5 years experience in network optimization field.
• Understand WCDMA/GSM/CDMA call processing, handover process and algorithms
• Solid knowledge of (WCN/CS/PS/RAN) and technologies as a significant differentiator.
• Team leader with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proactive, self-motivated and with rich communication skill
• Fluent Turkish and English (verbal and written)
• Willingness to work in shifts or in a flexible program, if necessary
• Must have a thoroughly understanding of principle of WCDMA/GSM/CDMA telecommunication,
• Have good knowledgeable with transmission system CORE system, RAN system, computers and TCP/IP networks.
• Be familiar with windows and UNIX system is required.
• Other manufacturers’ equipment experience is a plus.
